An elderly woman and a small child sat side by side.
As the woman spoke, she traced the ground with a stick, teaching the child something.
The child followed her example and drew the same shapes on the ground.
When the final shape was complete, the woman slowly embraced the child.
The child smiled and ran off happily.

The Mouth Parts
It opens the closed gate and passes between worlds.
The Center Holds
It joins the outer and the inner, standing at the heart of the world.
The Source Begins
It clears the haze and reveals the core of the world.
The True Aligns
It sweeps away obscuring thoughts and reveals a path through the world.
The Sun Rises
It illuminates the darkness and restores light to the world.
Structure Reveals the World
Intention appears through arrangement.
The Heart Becomes Script
It lets a faint voice be heard within the closed soul.
Script Becomes Word
It brings order to knowledge and weaves a new principle.
Word Becomes Light
It imbues uttered sound with power and brings existence into order.
Light Becomes Sound
It shines through the shadows of doubt and illuminates the hidden path.
Sound Becomes White
It touches the formless and expands awareness into space.
White Becomes Heart

Spirit Drifts
